My name is Carli Pickett and I’m a recent graduate from the Portland State School of Film. I entered Portland State University in 2020 from my bedroom in Boise, Idaho. My first term, I took a film analysis class, loved it, and declared myself a film major.

Through my time in college, I’ve found great satisfaction in all parts of the filmmaking process, from pre-production to cinematography, sound and editing. Delivering a final product that I’m happy with and that resonates with an audience has always been incredibly important to me, and I take great pride in the work that I do. Through my time spent on set, I’ve developed the ability to make quick decisions, problem solve effectively, and maintain an unshakeable calm demeanor in the face of pressure.

Every human has a story, and strong storytelling can bring any narrative to life. Filmmaking is the most fulfilling work I've done in my life and I'm ready and excited to do it professionally.
